Paramedic to FastFood Workers… “I don’t make $15 an hour”

I worked Fast Food as a teenager. It is not the easiest job, yet it also is not all that hard. I don’t think it is a job that someone should demand a pay rate of $15 an hour. This paramedic truly hits the nail on the head about this issue.

Here is my take on this topic. We as a society are willing to pay people based on what we perceive their value to be. If we pay fast food workers $15 but not EMS workers what does that say about our priorities in life?
