Today is the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Fifteen years sounds like a long time, yet I recall that day like it was yesterday.

Sitting at a local coffee shop enjoying a sandwich when I notice a guy walking in. Something about how he was staring at me caught my eye. At first, I could not put my finger on it but I knew something was off.

I have typed this post and deleted it over a dozen times in the last few days. The killing of Officers in Dallas had my hand hovering over the keyboard with tears in my eyes. Finally, now I am ready to say what I need to say.

I have been thinking a lot lately about brotherhood. For a few weeks, I have wanted to talk about various events I have seen or heard about. However, I did not have the proper package to wrap it up in. Until I saw Captain America: Civil War.

Last week I did a post about multiple police killed in a two-day time. The lack of any statement from our leadership over that issues was sad. The lack of coverage in mainstream media was almost as sad.

Yesterday, (February 10, 2016) we had four Law Enforcement Officers killed in the United States. However unless you view police related web pages it seems these deaths never happened. The top headlines on local news outlets deal with the Oregon standoff surrender and New Hampshire voters.

About a week ago this little meme from CopBlock rolled across my Facebook feed. The advice the anti-police movement was trying to give said call 911 any time a police officer pulls you over.

On January 15the Gainesville Police Officer Bobby White responded to a noise complaint. Turns out it was some kids playing basketball in the street. The officer did not bust the kids he joined their game.
