Richland County Sheriff’s Department Lt. McLendon arrived on a bridge over Highway 277 and Parklane Road and saw a man ready to jump. Without a second thought, the officer jumped into action to save the man’s life.

For some reason, this has not made it into the national mainstream media. Here we have officers telling a man if he falls they will go down with him. While many want to say all the police do is kill people here is an example of police saving a man. Something that happens multiple times every day but we rarely get told about.
