True Brotherhood, FD helps clean up the memorial at Denver PD

Over the weekend protestors in Denver defaced a memorial for fallen Denver police. According to many news accounts the Denver police were ordered to allow this criminal damage to property (CDTP).

I try to keep politics off this blog. But what example are we setting by allowing CDTP in the name of a protest? What is next? When and where will the line be drawn? “This is not a crime of ________ (battery/arson/property damage/assault/etc…) because we are doing it in protest for…”

Regardless it is very cool to find out that in Denver brotherhood does not turn a blind eye to differences in uniforms and patches. Members of the Denver FD stepped right up to help restore honor the fallen officers memorial. Members of the FD helped officers clean up the paint and other damage done by the protestors.
