We are in the final hours of 2014. Looking back on this year it has been a good one overall.

It has been said many times that police hate walking into many public places due to the dumb stuff people say. Everyone thinks they are an original jokester by saying "I didn't do it" or "It was him". The worst is the parents pointing at the officer and telling kids to behave "or else..."

The Shadow Boys is an interesting book, it was a good read but one that has a number of technical flaws. Even with the flaws it was a fun read that I recommend for someone looking for a mystery that will keep you turning the pages to find out who did it

For the last few days I had the honor, or is it the horror, of sitting though applicant interviews. We had many good people come in to interview. But there were answers to questions that made many of us shake our heads.

Every year there is a man who hands out $100 bills to random people in need during the holiday season. This year that man saw that someone needed to pain the police in a good light. He also saw that cops could use a few more similes.
