Police save people from Fire before FD arrival on scene

Police officers in Nassau County had to think fast and make a few saves when waiting for the Fire Department arrived on scene.

From their post on facebook…

Nassau County police officers engage in heroic fire rescue. Thinking on their feet, fifth precinct police officers James Schuerlein and Luis Ascencio commandeered a ladder from a nearby construction site to rescue two people from a second story window. Meanwhile, in the back of the building, police officers Evan Marro and Jason Dennington rescued four more people, two of which were children. A truly proud moment; outstanding work by our men in blue!
