Video: Citizens jump in to help police officer after squad car crash

Dallas police officer Dale Ordogne was hit by a pickup truck earlier this week. The impact sent his squad car airborne over an overpass and into a creek 24 feet below. Citizens jumped into the creek to render aid to the officer.

Dallas news reports the officer is in stable condition. The crash caused him some broken bones and a punctured lung. Wishing this officer a speedy recovery.

I want to say thank you to the people who offered help to this officer. We are in a world were it seems more an more people rather film tragedy versus trying to help. In this instance folks stepped up.
