Body Cam video: officer saves suicidal man from jumping off building

Hamden Police Officer Justin Martin was called to a retirement community building for a “combative” subject. After his initial contact with the suspect, the person ran off. Officer Martin followed the man to the sixth floor of the building.

Below is the raw body cam footage of the officer catching up to the suspect.

Great save by Officer martin. One more second and that person would have succeeded in flinging themselves off the sixth-floor balcony.
